CORINA BARRERA-  PRESIDENT

             

Corina Barrera is the newly elected President of Ramona Pop Warner, where she brings years of dedication, leadership, and heart to the program. A board member for the past four years, Corina has also coached both flag and tackle football, offering hands-on mentorship and support to young athletes at every level.

Professionally, Corina works as an Administrative Assistant at Olive Peirce Middle School, where she has served for the past five years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Child Development, combining her education with a strong commitment to helping youth grow both on and off the field.

As a proud football mom of four boys—all of whom have come through the Ramona Pop Warner program—Corina’s investment in the community is deeply personal. One of her sons now coaches alongside her, while two others continue to play at the high school level.

From the sidelines to the boardroom, Corina is driven by a passion for service, youth development, and building a strong, supportive sports community in Ramona.

DIANA CIAMPOLI VICE- PRESIDENT


I am a dedicated leader, mentor, and advocate for youth athletics, committed to creating opportunities for young athletes to grow both on and off the field. As Vice President of Pop Warner and a proud mother of two, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of sports in shaping confidence, resilience, and leadership skills in children. It’s my mission to foster an environment where every child feels supported, empowered, and encouraged to reach their full potential. 

Beyond my work with Pop Warner, I dedicate countless hours to serving my community, volunteering with the Chamber of Commerce to support local initiatives and businesses. While balancing my full-time career in the finance industry, I remain committed to making a difference—whether in the workplace, through mentorship, or within the heart of my community. My passion drives me to inspire young athletes, promote inclusivity, and help every child discover their strengths and chase their dreams." 

KERA VOWELS- CHEER COORDINATOR


I’m a proud mom of three—two cheerleaders and one football player—and have been part of the Pop Warner family for the past six years. I began my journey as a football team mom and quickly found a passion for supporting our athletes and organization.

I joined the board as an Events Coordinator, later served as Treasurer, and am now proud to serve as both a cheer coach and the Cheer Coordinator. Being involved at every level has given me a deep appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and spirit that make Pop Warner so special. I’m committed to creating a fun, supportive environment where our athletes can grow, build confidence, and make lasting memories.

JULIE CANNING- SECRETARY


Julie Canning serves as Secretary of the Ramona Pop Warner board, bringing strong organizational
skills and a deep commitment to youth sports. A dedicated parent and volunteer, all three of her sons
have proudly played in the program, giving her a firsthand understanding of its positive impact on young
athletes and the community. With years of involvement both on and off the field, Julie is passionate
about supporting the continued growth and success of the program for all families involved.

ALYSSA FLORES -TREASURER



Alyssa Flores is a proud mom of two football players who have been part of the Pop Warner family for a few years.  She started as an assistant coach then team mom, supporting our boys and their teammates from the sidelines, and now serves as the league treasurer. Her heart is in the game, and she’s passionate about helping our organization grow while creating a positive, fun experience for all our players and families.

 KINO FINCH- EQUIPMENT DIRECTOR


Kino Finch is the Equipment Director for Ramona Pop Warner and a dedicated father of two—one proudly playing in the program and one still in diapers. A Para Educator with the Ramona School District, Kino brings patience, organization, and a strong commitment to youth development. This is his first year serving on the board and his third year as an assistant coach. Kino is excited to support the program’s growth and help develop young athletes both on and off the field.

Areli Godinez is entering her third year as a valued member of the Ramona Pop Warner Board. As a proud mom of two boys actively involved in the RPW Football league, Areli and her family have been part of this great football community for 6 years.

In her dual role as Program Publicity Director and Team Parent Coordinator, Areli plays a vital part in keeping families informed and engaged, while supporting team parents throughout the season. She’s excited for another amazing year alongside the dedicated RPW board members. Let’s go Bulldogs! 🐾🏈🙌🏻

ANTHONY BARRERA- WEBMASTER



Anthony Barrera is a proud U.S. Navy veteran with 19 years of service as a Damage Controlman. Deeply committed to his community, Anthony has been coaching with Ramona Pop Warner for 11 years and serving on the board for 8 years. He also manages the organization’s website as its webmaster, helping families stay connected and informed.

In addition to his work with Pop Warner, Anthony has been coaching track and field at the high school level and has served as the head pole vault coach for the past 4 years. His dedication to youth sports is matched by his passion for mentorship and development both on and off the field.

A devoted father of four sons—all of whom have come through the Pop Warner program—Anthony now supports his youngest as he begins his own journey in the sport. Whether in the military, on the field, or in the community, Anthony brings a spirit of leadership, service, and integrity to everything he does.

My name is Julie De Witt, I am a native San Diegan and grew up in the valley of Escondido.  I played competitive soccer growing up and know
so many life lessons can be learned through sports.  My husband and I moved to Ramona in 2014.  I am a mom to three amazing children.  We
became involved in Ramona Pop Warner two years ago when my two boys started playing football.  My goal is not only for my children, but
the children involved in Ramona pop warner to feel a sense of belonging and pride to be a part of this organization.  I want them to look back
with fond memories of growing up playing football in this "small town" community.
